PMU Mainhead 4 Selangor and Mainhead 5 Kuala Lumpur have been overhauled and replaced with new DAIKIN brand air conditioners. About 303 units DAIKIN air-conditioners from 1.5hp to 5hp were installed at both Mainhead such as PMU Kuala Selangor, PMU Port Klang, PMU SPK Cheras and PMU Kuala Lumpur North. The value of the project is about RM2 million. 

Shortage of workers to cover all the PMU areas is one of challenge in handling this project. The current workforce shortage is a veritable perfect storm of low supply due to downsizing from the recession, experienced workers aging-out, and lack of interest from the upcoming generations, as well as the high demand of the current construction boom that spans various market sectors simultaneously.
